Media personality and broadcaster, Serwaa Amihere has always been committed to giving back to the society especially single mothers and widows. In view of this, she alongside her sister Mami Gyamfua founded the Serwaa Amihere Foundation.

In 2021, Red Roses Charity Foundation was created solely to focus on celebrating Christmas with single mothers and widows. This comes off on the 21st of every December on the forecourt of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly. On this day, the two sisters in collaboration with benevolent sponsors and the ghanaian society at large, support these women with funds for businesses, Christmas packages and a mini party to put smile on their faces.

Indeed, the Red Roses Christmas Charity has been a beacon of hope and delight for these mothers and widows for the past 3 years.
