TFB Review: Strike Industries Enhanced P365 Grip Module
Dec 21, 2024
The Strike Industries Enhanced Grip Module for P365s is a good-looking grip module, aimed to give you a little bit more performance out of your carry piece. Strike Industries sent one out for a review, and I'll give you an honest review and opinion.

Fitment

My personal Sig Sauer is the bare bones, run-of-the-mill, regular old P365. I added a flat-faced trigger and an optics-ready slide with a Romeo-X compact optic. The gun world's marketing departments have really taken to the letter “X” in recent years, and honestly, I still get tripped up by it from time to time.
A normal P365 has a short slide and a “pinky dangler” grip. The P365XL has a little bit longer slide and a full-length grip. It's still ultra-concealable and considered a micro compact by many. Sig also makes an X Macro that is a little bit bigger but considered a compact and has a 17-round capacity. When you put a short P365 slide and barrel on a P365XL grip module, you make a P365X. The X describes the long grip/ short slide combo. Sig uses the term X in a lot of other products as well, to describe a better product or feature set, but it's a different use of the letter X. For instance, they stamp their XL slides with just a letter X.
The Strike Industries Enhanced Grip Module for P365s accepts all lengths of slides, from the small P365 up to the X Macro. It will also take all magazines, except for the short “pinky dangler” 10-round mags. If you started with the original P365, you can upgrade to a P365X for the cost of the grip module and magazines. You can even throw your manual safety FCU into this grip module, as long as you’re willing to do some dremel work.
