Jan 15, 2025
The Dunelm Solar Blackout Eyelet Curtains have been hailed for their thermal properties, meaning they'll keep your home toasty warm in the winter and cool in the summer
As the winter chill continues, we're all looking for smart ways to stay warm without cranking up the heating. That's why Dunelm's Solar Blackout Eyelet Curtains are flying off the shelves.
These thermal curtains help regulate room temperature by trapping heat in winter and blocking it out in summer, making them a year-round essential. They also feature a blackout coating that blocks external light and minimises noise, perfect for bedrooms and living rooms.
Each set includes two curtain panels available in a variety of sizes, starting at £28 for a 117cm wide by 137cm long set, up to 228cm by 228cm for £68. The curtains have an eyelet header for easy threading onto curtain poles and come in nine different colours, from neutral whites and greys to bold yellows and purples.
Dunelm customers love them, awarding them a 4.4-star rating. One happy shopper wrote: "Great curtains, keep light out and heat in. Good quality, just take some time for creases to fall out," while another added: "Excellent quality curtains - keep the bedroom warm and dark."
A third shopper was initially unsure, saying: "I was hesitant at first as other reviews mentioned the backing was stiff and that the curtains didn't hang neatly. However, after unpacking and leaving the curtains laid flat on a bed for a day they hang very neatly and don't really need ironing."
