Reolink Video Doorbell (Battery) Review

The Bottom Line
Reolink Video Doorbell (Battery) Specs
Wireless video doorbells are all about ease of use, as evidenced by the $119.99 Reolink Video Doorbell (Battery). Powered by an internal rechargeable battery, this rather large doorbell doesn't require any wiring and is equipped with 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi radios, making network connectivity and installation quick and easy. It delivered sharp 2K video in our tests and streams video to Alexa and Google smart displays, but its lack of IFTTT support means third-party device integrations are limited. You get more integration opportunities and better storage options with the more affordable and compact TP-Link Tapo D225 ($99.99), which remains our Editors' Choice for affordable video doorbells.
Design: All the Essentials
The Reolink Video Doorbell (Battery) uses a black IP65 weather-resistant housing that measures 6.2 by 1.8 by 1.2 inches (HWD). That’s larger than both the TP-Link Tapo D225 (5.9 by 1.9 by 1.5 inches) and the Toucan Wireless Video Doorbell Pro (5.5 by 2.1 by 1.1 inches). The front of the doorbell holds the camera assembly, a doorbell button with an LED ring, a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor, an indicator LED, two microphones, two infrared LEDs for black-and-white night vision, and an ambient light sensor.
