Organisers of the third edition of the Miss Universe Zimbabwe (MUZ) beauty pageant have officially announced that registration for aspiring models is now open. The registration process, available both physically and online, will close on April 12, 2025, giving hopefuls plenty of time to sign up. Auditions for the pageant will commence in March, with the final selection set for May.

In an exclusive interview, MUZ logistics director Alison Makusha revealed that the pageant’s calendar is already set, and some aspiring models have already begun registering. She emphasized that there is no age limit for participation in the Miss Universe pageant, in line with the guidelines of the global competition. “Divorced, married, and unmarried women, including those with children, are all welcome to participate,” Makusha explained. “The Miss Universe platform is inclusive, and we are looking forward to seeing a diverse group of contestants.”

The pageant’s organisers are making sure to start the process early to allow ample time for preparation before the international stage. “We chose to begin earlier this year to ensure we have sufficient time to work closely with the winner and get her ready for the global competition,” Makusha said.

Auditions for Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 will take place from March 29 to April 12 in various cities, including Masvingo, Mutare, Masvingo, and Harare. Following the auditions, the top 12 finalists will be announced on April 26, after which they will go through an intensive boot camp in preparation for the finale. The grand event is set to take place in May, though the exact date is yet to be revealed. The finale will return to the Hippodrome, and the hosts of the event will also be announced soon.
