The foodbank was set up in 2012 through the Hope Community Church as part of the i58 Project in response to growing numbers of struggling households in the area. Since then it has distributed more than 500,000 kilograms – more than 600 tons – of food to people in need all over Inverclyde and has helped 62,729 people.
