TCL QM6K Class 65-Inch TV (65QM6K) Review
Feb 20, 2025

The Bottom Line

TCL QM6K Class 65-Inch TV (65QM6K) Specs

TCL is known for its budget-friendly TVs, and the QM6K is no exception, offering a very good picture and loads of features while still coming in at $999.99 for 65 inches (the size we tested). It isn’t the brightest TV we’ve seen, but it shows strong contrast and accurate colors, and it offers some perks that will appeal to gamers, including a very low input lag. If video games aren’t a priority, the Hisense U6N (listed for $799.99 for 65 inches) offers similar picture quality at a lower price and remains our Editors’ Choice for affordable TVs.

Design: Standard, Yet Sleek

The QM6K carries the standard visual design of most current midrange to high-end TVs. The screen is bezel-less on the sides and top, framed by only a narrow metal band around the edges. A centimeter-wide brushed metal strip runs along the bottom edge, with a small rectangular bump below it in the middle holding the infrared sensors, far-field microphones, and a status LED. The TV stands on two V-shaped gray legs that can be positioned near the edges or further inward for setting it on a table that’s narrower than the screen.

The connector for the power cable sits on the left edge of the back of the TV, facing left. All other ports can be found on the right edge, including four HDMI ports (two 4K144, one eARC), two USB ports (one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0), an Ethernet port, an optical audio output, and an antenna/cable RF connector.
