Martin Kemp has revealed he is "completely dyslexic" as opened up his terrifying battle with two brain tumours in his 30s.
The Spandau Ballet bassist underwent surgery in 1997 after doctors discovered that he had two brain tumours following an MRI scan. Surgeons were able to successfully remove the largest tumour before the second tumour was removed using revolutionary radiotherapy treatment.
Martin continues to experience side effects from the health battle, including epilepsy. However, speaking on his FFS My Dad Is Martin Kemp podcast, which he hosts alongside his son Roman, he also revealed the health battle left him suffering with dyslexia.
As a result, Martin explained that he is almost entirely reliant on using maps on his phone, even when he is walking to the local shops. Speaking on the podcast, Martin said: "I am completely dyslexic, I struggle to read, terribly.
"But my dyslexia, because it came from a physical thing that happened in my brain, it wasn't just about what I can read and what I can't read, it is about me finding my way as well.
