I’m tempted to call Bella Hadid a sneaker clairvoyant because she seems to always know exactly which one is going to blow up. However, it’s probably more accurate to say that she’s the one dictating the trends; if Hadid wears a sneaker, it’s only a matter of minutes before someone on TikTok deems it the “next cool-girl shoe.” She was a big part of the Adidas Samba madness and made me—someone who can count the number of times they've been to REI on one hand—actually consider buying Salomon’s gorpcore sneakers. But this season, like Katie Holmes, she ditched her typical streamlined styles for a super chunky silhouette.

Last week, the model was spotted wearing Coach’s distressed leather Soho Sneakers. The cool, retro-inspired style has a lived-in look that, based on Hadid’s history of making shoes overnight must-haves, I have to assume is about to be everywhere.

I’m obsessed with Coach’s luxurious leather bags, and Hadid made me realize that I might be sleeping on the brand’s sneakers. So I looked through all of its shoes, and found eight pairs I’d gladly add to my spring wardrobe.

While Hadid opted for the beat-up Soho Sneakers, the shoes are available in a handful of other colors and finishes, including a more traditional white style. My personal favorite, however, is this blue pair; that color is perfect for spring and I love its combination of classic leather and soft suede.
