After breaking theatrical records, Tamil comedy-drama Kudumbasthan is set to take over the digital world as well. K. Manikandan, known for giving hits like Good Night and Jai Bhim , received widespread appreciation for his impactful performance.

Helmed by Nakkalites YouTube filmmaker Rajeshwar Kalisamy, the film revolves around the life of a middle-class teen and the challenges he faced.

Made on a budget of ₹8 crore, the film reportedly earned over ₹25 crore. Its realistic story, portrayal of family expectations and dynamics, and depiction of financial hardship resonated with viewers, making it a hit.

Currently, Kudumbasthan is the fourth highest-grossing Tamil film of 2025.

The film's OTT release had been planned for quite some time, but it kept getting delayed. Now that the final release date has been set, fans are looking forward to the premiere.

Earlier, there were reports that the film would be released on February 28 but it was postponed. However, now Kudumbasthan will make its OTT debut on March 7 on streaming platform Zee5. On the same day, the film will also be aired on Kalaignar TV.
