A woman has made serious accusations against Zimbabwe’s Senate President, Mabel Chinomona, claiming that she has a child with President Emmerson Mnangagwa. The woman also alleges that Chinomona took over farms unfairly and gave one of them to her supposed daughter, Farai Chinomona. These claims were made in a Facebook post, which quickly gained attention and stirred up a lot of debate on social media.

According to the woman, Farai Chinomona owns a farm in Mashonaland East that was allegedly taken without following the rules. She insisted that the farm should be taken back, referring to Zimbabwe's "one man, one farm" policy, which was meant to prevent a few people from owning many farms. In her post, she accused Mabel Chinomona of strongly defending Mnangagwa because of their supposed personal relationship and the benefits her family is allegedly enjoying.

The woman also suggested that Chinomona's support for some political leaders is not just about loyalty but also about protecting her own interests. She hinted at corruption linked to the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ), claiming that Chinomona is involved in unfair practices there as well. However, these accusations have not been proven, and neither Mnangagwa nor Chinomona has responded publicly to them yet.

Mabel Chinomona is a high-ranking member of the ruling party, ZANU-PF, and is one of the most influential women in Zimbabwean politics. Over the years, many Zimbabwean leaders have faced accusations of corruption and unfair land distribution, especially since the land reform program that took farms from white owners to give to black citizens. This program was supposed to fix the imbalance in land ownership but has been criticized for benefiting a few powerful people instead of ordinary citizens.
