EastEnders viewers are convinced Tommy Moon has fallen victim to radicalisation after making a mystery new friend online.

After months of living with foster carer Zack Hudson (played by James Farrar), Tommy (Sonny Kendall) has finally returned home to his parents, but it’s not long before things spiral again.

Last year, Tommy and his mum, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), were at the centre of an abusive storyline with the schoolboy being violent towards his mother and siblings.

Heartbroken, Kat hid the torment of her son’s abuse, but Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) was worried about the safety of Tommy’s younger twin brothers. Jean eventually made a big decision and contacted social services in secret, leaving Kat furious, thinking that his family had betrayed her.

Kat was further devastated when she was told Tommy would be placed in social care, but neighbour Zack offered to take him in.

However, this week, Kat and her partner Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) were delighted when their social worker informed them their son could finally move back home.

However, for Kat, her happiness soon turned to concern when she confirmed that she is scared of her son. Later in the week, her suspicions are correct when Tommy will another outburst over being unable to get online.
