The 11 BEST Antique Sites and Apps, According to Collectors
Mar 6, 2025
Everyone interested in both fashion and interior design is familiar with the wave of dread they feel when the person they just complimented replies with, “Thanks, it’s vintage!” As with fashion, the quality that typically comes with older home pieces you find in a curated antique shop or secondhand store is simply better than the everyday pieces you find new at stores today. However, since it seems like everyone and their mother is on the vintage train lately, it gets harder and harder with each passing day to know where to find quality antique pieces at reasonable prices online. Not everyone has a great secondhand source just down the street! And if you’re looking for more coveted pieces, it becomes even harder to know who’s a reputable online retailer.
Rather than scour the apps and websites ourselves, we figured we should go straight to the professionals to find out where are the best places to source antiques on the Internet. We asked a handful of antique collectors and vintage-loving interior designers where they score the best deals on older furnishings, and they did not hold back. Keep reading to find out where these experts like to shop online to find beautiful antique home decor.

Olive Ateliers

Though she admits she’s biased, Kendall Knox, founder of Olive Ateliers, had to mention her own shop. “We specialize in sourcing ‘Objects with Old Souls,’ meaning anything a little rough around the edges, with a story to tell,” Knox tells House Beautiful. The store is based in Los Angeles, but it has an online marketplace you can shop from if you’re not local. It carries a vast assortment of vintage, antique (yes, there is a difference), and one-of-a-kind furnishings and decor from all over the world, priced fairly with new collections released each month.
