Elan Homes has overseen the sale of properties at Birch Grange, off Roften Way in Hooton, since summer 2024 and have just four of the original 59 homes unsold.

The company initially sold “off plan” before opening a show home, with buyers keen to snap up the properties thanks to the location and the offer of an easy to manage, energy efficient new home.

Marie Morris, Elan’s regional sales and marketing director, said the speed in which homes have been bought in the last nine months show there is a need for housing in the area.

She added: “The success of our new homes in Hooton demonstrate there’s a need for quality, energy efficient properties in the area.

“The sales rate we’ve achieved is fantastic and signals a confidence in the housing market and in Elan.

“We’ve attracted buyers from across Wirral and Ellesmere Port who all love the location. Some are keen to be close to the Wirral Way so they can stay fit and active, while exploring close to home.

“For others, having Hooton station on their doorstep is a big draw as they can be in Chester in 30 minutes or Liverpool in 45 – great for commuting, some retail therapy or a night out.”

The final homes available at Birch Grange are all four-bedroom detached designs, with prices from £349,995 to £389,995.

Recognising potential purchasers are likely to have an existing property to sell, Elan is offering part exchange.
