If you, like me, have dry skin, you know that powdered makeup products can be your skin’s worst enemy. Even when you have moisturized religiously, they seem to simply emphasize each and every crease on your skin.

Luckily, cream blushes that don’t peel or crease on dry skin (or any skin, as a matter of fact) exist. I’m happy to report I’ve found the best ones out there. After testing so many cream blushes prior and during my days as a shopping editor (nine years going strong), the ones below are the ones you’ll always find in my makeup bag.

Merit’s Flush Balm is my go-to for traveling or when I’m on the go. The packaging is ideal for throwing in your weekender bag or tote and applying when you need a quick fix. It’s extremely buildable, so two strokes are enough for a light flush, but any more than that works great for a more pigmented look. A little goes a long way since it’s highly pigmented, and you can easily blend it with your fingers or a blush. I like to blend mine with the brand’s blush brush.
