Mar 13, 2025
Sonic is selling corn dogs for a under a dollar this weekend in celebration of the deep-fried American staple.
The fast-food chain is offering 99-cent Corn Dogs on Saturday in honor of National Corn Day at all participating locations nationwide. Typically sold for around $3.50, the beloved menu item is best served with ketchup or mustard like any good hotdog.
"Wrapped in a sweet corn batter, these delicious dogs are fried to a crispy golden-brown perfection, making for the ultimate snack. Whether dipped in ketchup or mustard, SONIC Corn Dogs pair perfectly with Tots, Groovy Fries, or your favorite SONIC Drink combination," Sonic said in a news release.
The Oklahoma City-based company is also debuting a new Strawberry Mangonada Slush for limited time, based on the Mexican mangonada treat. The sweat drink, which adds Tajín Clásico chili lime seasoning to a tangy slushy, is available on the Flavorista Favorites menu exclusively on the Sonic App or website.
When is National Corn Dog Day?
Saturday, March 15 is National Corn Dog Day, honoring the American fried food inspired by the iconic hot dog.
Sonic added corn dogs to its menu since the late 1950s and have annually cheapened the price of the item on the food's holiday.
