Who Is Reece Clairmont? 3 Things To Know About The Arsenal Youngster Who Has Been Training With The 1st Team This Week
Mar 12, 2025
Reece Clairmont has been spotted training with the first team ahead of Arsenal’s Champions League fixture against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night.
The teenager was photographed alongside Jorginho in pictures taken by the club’s media team in the build-up to the game.
Clairmont has not even made a matchday squad for a senior game, let alone made his first-team debut.
Press the next page as we list three facts about the youngster who could make the bench versus PSV.
Clairmont is a pacey winger
The club’s website has described the 18-year-old as a “quick wide attacker” who is known for his “blistering pace”
Clairmont generally plays off the left wing, but he can be deployed in more defensive positions if required.
During his time in the youth team, he has made some appearances as a left-back.
He models his game on Alexis Sanchez and Cristiano Ronaldo
Clairmont has spoken out to say he was inspired to become a winger after watching Sanchez’s performance in the 2015 FA Cup final.
He started out in Sunday league football as a defender due to his height, but he wanted to “copy the skilful styles of Cristiano Ronaldo and Alexis Sanchez.”
That led to him playing in more forward positions as he developed his game before joining Arsenal’s academy setup at Hale End.
Clairmont could leave Arsenal this summer
