Cédric Maake, a native of Maupa who was born in 1965, is unlike other killers in that he doesn't have a preferred method of murder or a weapon of choice. He became notorious as the Wemmer Pan Killer in 1996 and 1997, after the suburb of Johannesburg where he committed most of his murders.
