Who Are Jayden Higgins’ Parents? Meet NFL WR’s Dad Moses Higgins and Mom Holly Poole
Mar 14, 2025
Wide receivers are the playmakers of football – the ones who turn a simple pass into a game-changing moment. They can outsmart defenders in split seconds with their speed and precision. The best ones don’t just catch passes – they give confidence QBs the confidence to launch deep throws. That’s what Jayden William Higgins is here to do. That’s what he was born to do. If you’ve watched him in action, you know he’s got the size (6’4”, 215 lbs), the arms (33 ⅛”), and the route-running ability to make an impact!
Higgins turned heads from the very start, at Westminster Christian School with 430 yards and five TDs in just five games as a senior. With multiple college offers, he chose Eastern Kentucky, “I like the location and the surrounding cities, and I feel like I can thrive at EKU, not only athletically but also academically,” he said. There, he racked up 394 yards and three TDs in 2021 before transferring to Iowa State. There, he started 12 of 13 games, hauling in 53 catches and six TDs, showcasing his knack for big plays.
From earning all-county honours to making Phil Steele’s Third-Team All-ASUN, Higgins has been a key playmaker at every level. In the NFL Combine too, he did wonders – with a 4.47s 40-yard dash, a 1.53s 10-yard split, a 39” vertical jump and a 10’8” broad jump. So, as he prepares to make a splash in the NFL Draft, let’s look at the solid foundation supporting his rise to the top.
