THREE days before the official start of the local campaign period, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) held a peace covenant signing for candidates vying for various positions in Cebu for the May 2025 poll. Those who attended the event on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, included gubernatorial candidates Pamela Baricuatro and Valeriano Gingco, and vice-gubernatorial candidate Joselito Ruiz.
