Eamonn Holmes has been dealt another blow as his live tour has been postponed due to sales
Eamonn Holmes has suffered further bad luck after his much-anticipated theatre tour was cancelled over "poor ticket sales". The 65-year-old telly favourite and GB News host was set to tread the boards for the first time on 11 March, but it looks like fans weren't quick enough off the mark to snap up tickets, leading to the plug being pulled.
According to an insider, the TV star has been left feeling "disappointed" that his Things We Like! tour has been scrapped as he was excited to meet his fans but it wasn't meant to be.
A source told The Sun: "Eamonn was really looking forward to the show. He loves interacting with the public and meeting fans. But ticket sales just weren't there. It's been a tough time for him personally and this is another disappointment to deal with."
We've contacted Eamonn's reps for further comment.
Back in December, Eamonn let slip the news about his tour on social media, teasing punters: "Coming your way soon and in theatres around the Country. Maybe the perfect last minute Christmas gift," reports Belfast Live.
Just last week, Eamonn kept his legion of followers in the loop, saying the tour was being pushed back and hyping up his upcoming podcast/videocast by the same name with a cheeky post.
