Emmerdale has been airing explosive scenes recently involving Ella Forster.

The character, who made her debut last year, has found herself accused of drugging her love rival Chas Dingle, a claim she vehemently denies.

Soap fans will recall that Chas is due to wed Ella's ex-lover, Liam Cavanagh, following a romantic entanglement involving the trio. In upcoming episodes, Chas and Liam become increasingly concerned as Ella begins to inundate them with messages and phone calls.

However, when Belle Dingle receives an email cancelling Liam and Chas' nuptials, it seems Ella is intensifying her harassment campaign.

In a desperate move, Liam alerts the authorities, and the situation escalates when one of the pub's windows is smashed. Liam and Chas are certain that Ella is behind it, unaware that Ella is watching their every move...

The plot thickens when Ella unexpectedly turns up at her best mate Mandy Dingle's home, demanding to speak with Liam. When Mandy refuses, Ella holds Mandy hostage, forcing Liam to step in.

A distressed Ella attempts to convince Liam that she's being framed, and he tries to trick her into confessing by pretending to reconcile. Upon discovering Liam's deception, Ella once again reaches for the knife.
