BREAKING: Tension In Zimbabwe As Geza Finally Lands In The Country With Army, Heads Go State House
Apr 3, 2025
War veteran Blessed Geza has reaffirmed that there is no turning back on efforts to remove Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa from office. Speaking in a statement on Wednesday night, Geza made it clear that the push for impeachment was gaining momentum and that Mnangagwa's leadership had become untenable.
"We have to stand united. Mnangagwa is now incapacitated and therefore there are several reasons for impeaching him. Vultures around him are now running the country," Geza asserted.
Geza, a known figure in Zimbabwe's war veterans' circles, has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with Mnangagwa’s administration. His latest remarks add to the growing political tensions within the ruling ZANU-PF party and beyond. Reports suggest that some party insiders and opposition figures have been quietly aligning themselves with the call for change, citing economic mismanagement, corruption, and internal factional battles as key concerns.
The assertion that Mnangagwa is "incapacitated" is a sharp escalation in the rhetoric against the president, who has faced increasing criticism over his handling of Zimbabwe’s economic crisis and governance issues. The claim that "vultures around him are now running the country" implies that Mnangagwa has lost control over the political and economic direction of the nation, fueling speculations that power struggles within ZANU-PF may be reaching a breaking point.
