Jules Hudson and his young son Jack have issued a plea to fans after they announced a brand new project. The Escape to the Country star was helping his boy, who he shares with wife Tania Fitzgerald, in his dream to become a renovator.

Taking to Instagram, the BBC presenter shared what was going on in the family. He shared a video of the dad and lad on an adventure to find a special item. Captioning the post, the 55-year-old dad penned: "So, last weekend Jack and I popped down to @warehouse701 in search of a little project; Jack’s do-er-upper! we’d love your help if you can! Calling all vintage mower experts! @warehouse701."

Speaking into the camera, the BBC star shared that many families are making use of the excellent weather, including them, as the sun shone down on them. He said: "We are focusing on our garden and if you come to Warehouse 701, as we have this morning, you will find thousands of characteristic historical items."

He added that there was a "fabulous collection" just over Jack's shoulder as he said: "Any one of those would look fantastic in my garden. But we're after, mate, is not out here is it?" Jack shook his head and he replied: "Nope."

They then headed inside to find an item that Jules had "put his name on" some time ago, but wanted to show the youngster. They stopped at a Suffolk Colt antique lawnmower as Jules urged the child to tell everyone why they are looking for a new project.
