There are seven races taking place at Aintree on day one of the Grand National meeting
The Grand National meeting kicks off on Thursday afternoon, with seven races taking place at Aintree.
Among the day one contests are four Grade Ones, including a fascinating rematch between Constitution Hill and Lossiemouth.
Nicky Henderson's star hurdler got the better of the Willie Mullins-trained mare when they clashed at Kempton on St Stephen's Day, but arrives here on the back of a fall in the Champion Hurdle at last month's Cheltenham Festival, where Lossiemouth bolted up to win the Mares' Hurdle.
Lulamba was expected to run in this afternoon's juvenile hurdle, but connections have opted to run the Triumph Hurdle runner-up in Saturday's Grade 1 Turners Mersey Novices' Hurdle instead.
Meanwhile, Willie Mullins has a number of horses running today that missed Cheltenham, including Impaire Et Passe in the opening Grade 1 chase, as well as Gaelic Warrior and Embassy Gardens in the Bowl Chase.
