For the first time in a decade, we will have a Clasico Copa del Rey final.

Barcelona and Real Madrid will lock horns at La Cartuja later this month for the right to lift one of football's most imposing-looking trophies.

Barca battled past Atletico Madrid in the semifinals, winning the second leg in the capital 1-0 to claim a 5-4 aggregate victory. Remarkably, Real Madrid came through their semifinal by the same aggregate score, an engrossing 4-4 draw with Real Sociedad after extra time sealing their progress.

Clasicos are invariably one of the most important dates on the European domestic calendar, yet this one feels particularly special given what it could mean for these teams' seasons.

Barca are on track to win a famous quadruple: they thrashed Madrid in the Supercopa final early this year, they lead the La Liga standings, and they are expected to beat Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.
