It was a rocky start for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC when it released a couple of months ago, launching with many bugs and issues that had fans up in arms.

Slowly but surely, the game is becoming the adventure it was meant to be, after several updates that make it the title that impressed us back on PlayStation 5.

A new update has snuck out onto PC through the various channels, and improves many of the issues players once struggled with.

‘Title Update 7’ should automatically download, and it features a wealth of changes and tweaks.

Nixxes, responsible for the PC port, has detailed the fixes, which include, fixing shadow flickers that occurred when Ambient Occlusion was set to HBAO+ or XeGTAO.

They’ve squashed a bug that prevented system settings being saved when changing display modes, too.

Ray-tracing has had a number of fixes, which should allow for more stable framerates and gameplay - this was perhaps the biggest complaint from fans.

Steam players will notice the difference upon next session, and Nixxes will keep working away on quality of life improvements, such as resolving issues thrown up whenever a player would Alt+Tab out of the game.
