Trafford Centre bosses have finally revealed who is taking over the former M&S site on Peel Avenue - and it includes a Manchester first

The Trafford Centre has revealed the fashion retailers taking over the former Marks & Spencer site on Peel Avenue - and it will involve some huge changes at the shopping mall.
In an announcement made today, Trafford Centre bosses have confirmed a major leasing deal with Inditex, the fashion giant that owns hit brands Zara and Pull&Bear.
Inditex are to take over the large site near John Lewis left vacant ever since M&S moved to its new megastore location at Regent Crescent.
It will see the current Zara and Pull&Bear stores already in the Trafford Centre relocate to larger flagship stores in the new location.
And also announced today is the much-anticipated arrival of fashion brand Bershka, a first for the Trafford Centre.
Bershka currently has stores in Liverpool and Birmingham, but the opening of a new store at the centre will be its first presence on the high street in Greater Manchester.
The brand is known for its womenswear, menswear and teen clothing ranges, including its coveted Hello Kitty collaboration.
The M.E.N. understands that Bershka will be located on the upper mall where M&S' main fashion floors used to sit, alongside Pull&Bear.
Meanwhile the expanded Zara will take over the ground floor that was formerly occupied by the M&S food hall, as well as spread across to consolidated smaller units in this section of the centre - that includes the former Halifax, Lakeland, Post Office and Pen Shop.
