Gareth Pierce first graced the cobbles as Todd Grimshaw in Coronation Street five years ago and since the his character has been embroiled in numerous plots.

Todd, the offspring of long-standing character Eileen Grimshaw, has weathered a confrontation with mobster Mick Chaney and navigated tense relations with Eileen's partner, George Shuttleworth.

More recently Todd's head has been turned by handsome new arrival Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) with the pair sharing a kiss during recent scenes of the ITV show.

Off-screen, Gareth's existence appears far less tumultuous, and he frequently posts photos of his time spent with family and friends, including his Corrie colleagues. So, what more do we know about this actor?

In addition to Corrie, Gareth has featured in an array of other TV programmes over the years. His impressive resume includes roles in Mr Selfridge, Ordinary Lies, Hollyoaks, and Doctor Who: The Doctors Revisited, where he provided narration for all 11 episodes.

A native of Wales, Gareth also boasts credits in numerous Welsh series.

Gareth tied the knot with his partner Amy Lee Pierce in 2014, and the couple now live in Manchester with their daughter.
