The Dark Destroyer has opened up on his personal life

Shaun Wallace, known for his role on The Chase, has opened up about a significant life choice, stating he has "no regrets". In a rare glimpse into his personal life during a podcast chat, the 65-year-old quiz master shared his thoughts on family and career.
Speaking on the How To Be 60 podcast with Loose Women's Kaye Adams and co-host Karen MacKenzie, Shaun revealed that he had consciously chosen not to marry or have children, reports the Mirror. This decision was made early in his career as a barrister, a time when he felt it wouldn't be right to raise a child while trying to climb the professional ladder.
Despite not having children of his own, Shaun takes immense pride in being a godfather to 15 children. He said: "I've never regretted that decision. I've got 15 godchildren. Two of them are called Shaun, and I'm the best godfather in the world."
Shaun also spoke warmly about his ex-partner's daughter, whom he considers as his own. He shared some details about their relationship, saying: "I watched her grow into a lovely young lady. She got a first-class honours degree recently, and she got her doctorate the other day, and I was there."
Initially, Shaun played his cards close to the chest concerning his personal life during an appearance on a podcast. When initially probed about his romantic endeavours by the hosts, he evasively said: "I suppose I'm married to my career. Put it that way. I like that. I prefer that and I'm happier."
