TV actors Ravish Desai and Mugdha Chaphekar confirmed their separation just days back. The two, who tied the knot in 2016, called it quits after 9 years of marriage. In their now-deleted statement, the pair mentioned that they had been living separately for a year now, adding, “We have had a beautiful journey together that of love, friendship and respect, and that would continue all our lives."

Following their revelation, Mugdha received much backlash for their decision to end their marriage. Coming out in support of his estranged wife, Ravish decided to set the record straight once and for all. He took to his Instagram account and, in a now-deleted video, slammed trollers for cooking up theories about their divorce, especially targeting Mugdha.

Lashing out at the trollers, the Made in Heaven actor said, “Guys, come on, is it necessary that a third person has to be involved in every separation? Two people mutually decided to come together and mutually decided to part ways. Why can’t that be as simple? Whatever the reason may be, let that rest in our hearts." He then requested some privacy, adding, “Please give us some privacy here. Why point a finger at a woman’s dignity for what? What are you going to achieve out of that?"
