Stan Kroenke has seen his net worth grow higher than ever this year as the Arsenal owner is close to becoming one of the 100 richest people in the world. Arsenal are one of several sports teams Kroenke Sports & Entertainment owns, alongside the Los Angeles Rams (NFL) and several franchises in Denver, where the company are based.

Their teams from the Mile High City include the Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Mammoth (NLL), Colorado Rapids ( MLS ) and Denver Nuggets (NBA). Kroenke also owns circa 60 million square feet of real estate and over 1.6 million acres of ranches across the United States and Canada.

According to Bloomberg, the businessman has a net worth of £18 billion, with Forbes having a more conservative estimate of £14bn. However, both agree that Kroenke's wealth has grown significantly this year.

The former has it increasing by 10 per cent to the tune of £1.63bn year-on-year, while Forbes has it rising by £1.41bn since last year. In the previous four years, his net worth more than doubled after being £6.42bn as recently as 2021, per Forbes.

That figure represented a fall from the prior year when it was £7.83bn. However, it rebounded to £8.37bn in 2022 and has continued to rise ever since, surpassing £10bn for the first time in 2023.
