Benidorm was a massive hit with viewers and it's since been rumoured that the sitcom may make its return

It's hard to believe it's been nearly 20 years since Benidorm graced our television screens, instantly captivating audiences with the antics at the fabled Solana hotel.
The ITV comedy, which first aired in 2007, drew in viewers with a roster of famous faces including Tim Healy and Sherrie Hewson, and entertained fans for 10 seasons and 74 episodes.
Sadly, fans had to bid farewell to the series in May 2018, after a hilarious and memorable 11-year run. However, there's now buzz of a comeback as rumours circulate that ITV bosses are discussing possibilities with show creator Derren Litten to bring back the beloved comedy.
Adding to the excitement, an original star hints at its return; Sherrie Hewson known for her role as the hotel's manager Joyce Temple-Savage, hinted during a podcast interview: "Benidorm is coming back."
Looking at what the stars have been up to since waving goodbye to the sunny setting of Benidorm, it has been quite the ride. Various cast members have experienced new beginnings both on and off-screen, ranging from stints at Asda to appearances in the beloved ITV soap Coronation Street.
