There were hundreds of reports of users experiencing issues with EA servers early on Wednesday morning, according to Downdetector.

An X account for EA Sports' FC 25 game posted: "We have a maintenance coming up on April 9, 06:00 to 9:00 UTC.

"During this time, you may be disconnected or unable to access online services.

"Match creation will be disabled 30 min before the maintenance.

"Titles impacted: EA SPORTS FC 25, EA SPORTS FC 24 and FIFA 23 on all platforms."

Similarly, an X account for the Madden NFL game warned users of server maintenance set to take place.
