Dyan Cannon, 88, reveals she has several ‘friends with benefits’ at Hollywood event

Dyan Cannon, the 88-year-old actress and former wife of Cary Grant, got candid about her active love life this week while attending the 10th Annual Hollywood Beauty Awards.
When asked if she was dating on Sunday, April 6, she replied, “Of course.”
The Oscar-nominated star added that she has “several special” people in her life, noting, “I have friends with benefits, yes.”

In her conversation with People, Cannon also reflected on her past relationship with talk show host Johnny Carson.
Their romance was recently highlighted in a CBS Sunday Morning special, “The Hidden Side of Johnny Carson,” rekindling interest in their connection.
“I rattled him, and I love that,” Cannon told People. “We love it when we rattle men who aren't usually rattled, don't we?”
She noted that Carson, who died in 2005 at age 79, went to great lengths to keep their relationship private.

"He loved it,” she said. “We used to go to restaurants, and they'd shut down the entire restaurant for him."
Cannon described Carson as a “special man” and added, “I've known a lot of special men. And there’s more to come.”
Cannon also reminisced about her marriage to Grant, which lasted from 1965 to 1968.
In her memoir, “Dear Cary,” she wrote about their tumultuous relationship, stating, “I never knew what was going to set him off next.”
