Stan Kroenke became one of the 100 wealthiest people in the world six months ago as the Arsenal owner's net worth continues to rise.

Kroenke sits 79th on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index after increasing his net worth by 10 per cent over the last year and currently stands at £17.87 billion.

The Los Angeles Rams are considered his biggest asset at £6.11billion, being the second most valuable NFL franchise behind the Dallas Cowboys at £8.09billion, per a report by valuation consultants Sportico last August.

Next are the Denver Nuggets at £3.18billion - 16th-best in the NBA as of December - just ahead of Arsenal at £3.06billion.

The club acknowledged Kroenke's "support and commitment" during their most recent accounts.

They added that their investment in the "development of its men's first-team player resources" during last season and the 2024 summer transfer window "would not have been possible" without Kroenke Sports & Entertainment.

Last summer's spending could reach circa £100million with add-ons after exceeding £200million during the previous campaign.

However, unlike the Nuggets - who won their first NBA championship in 2023 - that recent investment has not led to a trophy yet.
