Alexis Mac Allister transfer stance revealed as translator left stunned in Liverpool negotiations

Alexis Mac Allister's father has dismissed the possibility of the midfielder leaving Liverpool in the near future
Alexis Mac Allister has no intention of leaving Liverpool in the near future according to the player’s father, Carlos. The World Cup winner joined the Reds in a £35m deal from Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2023 and has established himself as a virtual ever-present in his two seasons at Anfield.
Making 90 appearances for Liverpool to date, returning 13 goals and 11 assists, the 26-year-old has missed just one Premier League match this season - through suspension - and looks set to help the Reds win the title.
Arne Slot’s men currently boast an 11-point lead over second-placed Arsenal and need a maximum of 11 points from their remaining seven games to be crowned champions.
Mac Allister has been a star performer for Liverpool this season, with his form not going unnoticed. The Argentine has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, while he has previously admitted an interest in playing in La Liga in the future.
But Carlos Mac Allister has played down the possibility of his son leaving Liverpool anytime soon, insisting the midfielder is happy at Anfield.
“For now, I don't think so. Time will tell,” he said. “Alexis is very happy where he is. He lives in Manchester, and on the block where he lives is (Andy) Robertson, (Joe) Gomez, and four blocks away is Licha Martinez (Lisandro Martinez of Manchester United).
