Amazon has slashed the price of the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL by $204 for the 128GB option, bringing the price down to $894.99. A huge discount for the company’s top flagship model, especially considering the pricing uncertainty because of incoming trade tariffs.

The base Pixel 9 has also been discounted by $151.75, bringing the price down to $647. The Pixel 9 Pro and Google Pixel 8 series, however, are still at full price. While the base Pixel 9 deal mimics an Amazon sale last month, the Pixel 9 Pro XL price is one of the biggest discounts I have seen yet.

Google has typically knocked $150 off its top handset in the promotions it has run since the devices launched last August. But a straight $200 discount beats those sales comfortably.

Amazon can undercut the companies that make these smartphones partly because you’re buying the phone and nothing else. While Samsung and Google will throw in some freebies, store credit or access to subscription services, Amazon’s no-thrill deals involve the device with no extras.
