The Understated Luxury Brand Everyone’s Talking About Right Now
Apr 11, 2025
It’s been a while since I’ve heard the name “Massimo Dutti” in my circles. And yet, there it is, seemingly, on the tongues of every sophisticated woman I’ve come to know as of late. Why? I endeavored to find out—and naturally, it didn’t take long for me to discover the reason: The Spanish label’s latest collections have been seriously good, touching on some of the biggest fashion trends of the moment with luxury-level quality, and all at a more attainable price point that won’t make you gasp when you look at your bank account.
Massimo Dutti, founded in 1985, is not a new name in the fashion world. The Spanish label—which happens to be Zara’s sister brand—first gained traction in the U.S. market during the ’90s—and now, it’s having what I can confidently say is its own renaissance. Need proof? Just take a look at its limited-edition spring/summer 2025 collection, which just showed this week and included special guests like Kelly Rutherford, Lou Doillon, and other impeccably chic women in the front row. With that kind of approval, there’s no reason not to have it in your closet.

Based on my observations of its latest offerings, Massimo Dutti is making timeless pieces that will round out your closet —but it’s not just a collection of wardrobe basics you’ll find. Sure, there are classic cuts and fabrications that will, without a doubt, extend an item’s longevity in your wardrobe, but there are also silhouettes that come with a modern edge. One such item is the Asymmetric Court Shoes from its Studio line (and you can make them yours for less than $200).
