Emmerdale fans have been left speechless after finding out Dominic Brunt’s real age.

Dominic shot to fame playing the loveable vet Paddy Kirk on the ITV soap - making his debut in 1997. And it didn’t take him long to become one of the show’s most iconic and adored characters.

As Paddy, Dominic has been involved in several big storylines too over the years. From his shock affairs to the heartbreaking loss of his child, Paddy’s time in the Dales has not been short of drama.

Paddy’s love life has often been the talk amongst viewers too. He’s been married five times - with his most recent wife being fellow soap legend Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley).

However, away from the soap fans are only just learning Dominic’s real age. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, alongside photos of Dominic, a viewer wrote: “Dominic Brunt who plays Paddy Dingle on Emmerdale. Born on 15th April 19670.”

Rushing to the comment section, fans shared their shock over Dominic being 54. One person declared: “What wait? He’s 54?”

Someone else chimed in: “He still has that same baby face as when he arrived!” A third wrote: “I know he def looks a look younger.”

As for Dominic’s personal life, the TV favourite is Dominic is married to Joanne Mitchell. Joanne Mitchell is also well known to soap lovers as she has made a number of appearances on Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
