Greg Taylor 'unavailable' for Celtic man of the match TV interview as Brendan Rodgers quizzed on absence

Rodgers was quizzed on whether Taylor's absence was a clue about his future beyond the summer
Greg Taylor was unavailable to speak to Sky Sports after Celtic's win over Kilmarnock – and Brendan Rodgers was asked if that was a clue he's resigned to losing the left-back this summer.
The Scotland defender was named man of the match in the 5-1 rout and typically the winner of that award faces TV cameras to collect it in person.
But, unusually, it was Callum McGregor and Cameron Carter-Vickers who went up for the interview, as Taylor stayed on the pitch with to celebrate with his teammates, with his baby daughter in his arms.
When Rodgers stepped up in front of the cameras, Sky's Luke Shanley pointed out that Taylor had been 'unavailable' for an interview – and asked Rodgers whether his absence from media duties was an indication the club are 'resigned' to losing him.
But Rodgers insisted he's not giving up on keeping the out-of-contract star just yet.
Rodgers said: "I'll always fight to the very end for a player and a person like Greg. He's earned the right to make the decision he wants, but I think you see in his performance today how important he is in that role for us.
"It opens up so much, and he plays like a midfield player for us. We'll always try to convince (him to stay). But we'll see what happens from now until the end of the season."
