Nicola McLean has opened up about the challenges of Celebrity Big Brother.

The ex-glamour model, who graced the reality show in 2012 and returned for the All Star vs New Star season in 2017, shed light on the issue as the 2025 series unfolds on ITV1.

Some viewers have voiced concerns over the limited visibility of certain celebs in the house. On X, previously known as Twitter, a viewer expressed: "We need more Jack, Angelica and Donna scenes #CBBUK."

Echoing this sentiment, another fan posted: "I'm gonna need a LOT more Patsy, Jack P Shepherd and Donna content #cbbuk."

While a third chimed in with: "Give Angellica and Donna screen time NOW #CBBUK.", reports the Mirror.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" alum Nicola has now weighed in, stating that gaining airtime is "really hard" unless one has an outsized personality.

In her commentary for WhichBingo, Nicola remarked: "It's really hard to get airtime there.

"You've got to think, you go into this house with 12 other people. and to be a big character in there, you've really either got to be a massive character or you've really got to have balls."

She added: "It is very easy to just go 'do you know what? I'm just going to sit back' but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, unless you're me and have done it three times."
