Opening up on The Dr Hilary Show, the TV presenter, 85, who tragically lost her husband in 2024, shared insights into her plans for the future and how she copes with grief

Gloria Hunniford has shared an update on her career and personal life following the tragic death of her husband last year.
In a candid admission on The Dr Hilary Show, the TV presenter, 85, opened up about her plans and how she copes with grief, saying it's a case of filling "your head quite quickly".
It comes after the tragic passing of her husband, Stephen Way, in August 2024 at age 85. However, Gloria suffered another bereavement in 1997 when she lost her former husband and father to her children, Don Keating.
In a further devastating loss seven years later, her daughter, Caron Keating, died from breast cancer in 2004. Caron, a former Blue Peter presenter, was just 41 when she died.
In the podcast, Gloria, known for her role on Loose Women, was asked what the future holds and if her philosophy was to "keep going", to which she immediately responded that she "never" wants to retire.
Following some compliments from the presenter, Gloria said: "Well, that's very kind of you to say that, but I do it for me as well because you take grief, with grief, I think you have to fill your head quite quickly.
"And it's not that you get over the grief, or don't suffer the grief, but after Stephen passed, I put my... indeed, after Caron died, I put myself back to work, I think, reasonably quickly.
