Apr 14, 2025
A MAJOR supermarket has slashed the cost of veg to just a few pennies as Easter shoppers rush to pick up a bargain.
Morrisons has cut the cost of carrots, swedes and parsnips to just 8p.
The deal launches across stores and online today, and will last until Sunday April 20.
To access the offer you will need to be a Morrisons More Card holder, which is free and will give you access to rewards and money off items in store.
The supermarket has also slashed the price of its "Best Potatoes" by from £2.30 to £1.10 for all customers.
Gareth Lloyd, head of marketing events at Morrisons, said: "These vegetable price cuts are part of Morrisons ongoing commitment to deliver quality and value.
"Particularly during key seasonable moments when food plays an even bigger role within our customers' households.”
Morrisons has undercut a number of major supermarkets including Aldi with it's round of vegetable price reductions.
The German discounter slashed the price of carrots, broccoli, and potatoes to just 15p ahead of the holiday.
Last week, Sainsbury's, and Lidl also said they would also slash the price of their veg to 15p.
You will need to be signed up for a loyalty card at Sainsbury' to access the deal, which starts on April 16.
