Headlining WrestleMania can be the pinnacle of a wrestler’s career, and despite there being over four decades of history for this show, only a select number of individuals have had the privilege of main eventing WWE WrestleMania, with to date just 47 names being granted that illustrious position. However, not everyone has delivered under the bright lights of the WrestleMania main event.

The main event of WrestleMania 2 saw Hulk Hogan defeat King Kong Bundy inside a Steel Cage. The in-ring work was not good by any means, with Hogan on the receiving end of a beatdown before engaging in a comeback and defeating the latest “monster heel” of the month in a predictable and overdone match structure.
