Notre Dame football spring transfer portal window: Who’s in and who’s out?

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - College football’s spring transfer portal is officially open, giving players one last chance to switch schools before the start of the 2025 season and giving schools one last chance to strengthen their rosters.
The spring transfer portal window is only open for 10 days until next Friday, April 25.

DEPARTURES
Kennedy Urlacher – Safety
The son of Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher entered the transfer portal on April 16.
Urlacher played 14 games in his true freshman season and recorded 12 tackles.
According to On3.com, The 5-foot-11, 195-pound safety entered the portal with a “do not contact” tag, meaning he likely knows where his next destination is.
The sophomore from Chandler, Ariz., will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Rino Monteforte – Long Snapper
The 5-foot-7, 209-pound long snapper announced his plan to enter the portal as a graduate transfer on April 16.
Monteforte appeared in all 16 games for Notre Dame in 2024.
The North Babylon, N.Y. native will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
