As Nigeria faces escalating insecurity challenges, prominent cleric and spiritual leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has delivered a strong and urgent message to President Bola Tinubu and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu. In a statement released through his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, the revered prophet expressed deep concern over the worsening state of security in the country, particularly in the northern regions.

He warned that the activities of bandits and insurgents are becoming increasingly organized and strategic, with the sinister aim of rendering the government powerless and potentially taking control of key government establishments, including state government houses.

Primate Ayodele emphasized that these threats are not accidental or random but are being orchestrated by powerful individuals and groups who are determined to destabilize the nation. " There are people behind the insecurity, " he said, " and if it is not dealt with immediately, a more disastrous situation will come. " He cautioned that failure to urgently and effectively respond to these threats could lead to catastrophic consequences for the country' s political stability.

The cleric was particularly vocal in addressing the governors of Borno and Benue States, Professor Babagana Zulum and Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, respectively. He urged them to intensify their security measures to protect their states from insurgent threats.
