With the explosive The White Lotus season 3 finale in the rearview, Us can’t wait to see what showrunner Mike White does next with the series — and where in the world he does it.

Although The White Lotus premiered as a limited series in August 2021 (pandemic restrictions granted the production team rare access to film across an entire resort property), its huge success spurred two additional seasons, making it an anthology series in which each season takes place at a different White Lotus resort.

The first season took place in Hawaii, followed by the second season in Sicily, Italy, and the third in Thailand. Before the third installment even premiered, The White Lotus was renewed for a fourth season in January 2025.

But where will our favorite wealthy, debaucherous and sometimes murderous cast of characters go next season? Us Weekly has a good guess.

Given that each White Lotus season is filmed at a Four Seasons resort location, it is possible to use the process of elimination to narrow down which resorts are up for grabs for White, 54, to select.

Ruling out the three resorts already used as filming locations (the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, the Four Seasons Taormina at San Domenico Palace and the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui), brings us to 131 property options. It’s also safe to assume that White won’t want to return to any resorts in Hawaii, Italy or Thailand so as not to be repetitive, bringing us down to 122 properties.
