President Donald Trump really captured the Easter spirit this year when a bunny standing behind him made it look like he had massive fluffy rabbit ears. The picture of the unfortunate incident was captured today during the annual Easter Egg Roll on the White House's South Lawn.

The Orange Manbaby was standing on the Blue Room Balcony saluting to the children when a crafty photographer captured the silly image. The egg roll tradition dates back to 1878 when President Rutherford B. Hayes invited children to roll Easter eggs on the White House grounds.

Children previously rolled eggs down a hill at the US Capitol in the early 1870s, but a law was passed in 1876 forbidding the Capitol property from being used due to the toll on the lawn.

It comes as Trump revealed he is "hopeful" a peace deal to end Russia's war in Ukraine can be struck this week. Speaking on the social media platform, Truth, Trump posted: "HOPEFULLY RUSSIA AND UKRAINE WILL MAKE A DEAL THIS WEEK.

"BOTH WILL THEN START TO DO BIG BUSINESS WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WHICH IS THRIVING, AND MAKE A FORTUNE!"

After taking office, Trump has worked on sharing his opinion on the conflict between Putin and Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Tensions appear to be turning recently, with Putin announcing last week he would pause the conflict to mark Easter weekend. The so-called Easter Truce took place between April 19 until midnight on Monday 21.
