Narendra Modi, is the 14th Prime Minister of India. He attributes much of his life’s journey to the values instilled in him by his parents, Heeraben Modi and Damodardas Mulchand Modi. Their humble beginnings and support have profoundly influenced his path, shaping his character and leadership.

Born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat, Narendra Damodardas Modi rose from modest origins to become one of India’s most prominent political figures.

Heeraben Modi, affectionately known as Heeraba, was born on June 18, 1923. She married Damodardas Mulchand Modi at a young age, and together they had six children—five sons and one daughter.

A dedicated homemaker, Heeraben managed the household with limited resources while instilling strong values of honesty, discipline, and simplicity in her children.

After her husband’s passing, she lived with her youngest son, Pankaj Modi, in Gandhinagar. Heeraben passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 99.

Damodardas Mulchand Modi was born in June 1915 in Vadnagar, Gujarat. He worked as a tea vendor, running a small stall at the Vadnagar Railway Station.
